Guru is the sonic producer and animal trainer for this bunch of slobs. Who would put up with this crap for so little money? To make up for all the torment, The Kowalskis have pimped his ass out to tour and tech with The Dickies, adding to his own real past paying work for Sony Studios, Lauryn Hill, tour manager and sound person for Al DiMeola, big bands from Cuba and an 18-piece funk band from Brazil.
What keeps him going? He does it for the love of the ROCK, and the fans, and the "gifts" he gets on the road from people who see that the boy needs to relax, have fun, turn on and tune out! The Kowalskis show their appreciation by springing for the occassional lap dance. Guru's real accomplishments include producing The Manges "Mages Are Good Enough" for Stardumb records. As Trake Commander, he is grooming his own offspring for rock stardom with teenage band, The Trakes. Look for The Trakes first full length on Amp Records this fall, and make papa proud. And rich.
